ABOUT ME

My name is Miki and my husband is Ray. We are both friendly, ambitious, respectful, clean and easy going people. We are non smokers. We love the outdoors, traveling, music and learning new things. We love to make new friends. Ray is British and is from Cardiff, Wales in the UK. He is an accountant and works part-time for Cardiff City Council.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are sociable and enjoy traveling. We would like to make friends around the world, so that we may be able to share and exchange hospitality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wonderful experience! I was hosted by a very generous family in California. I got stuck in 5 Hours of Traffic for a commute that was only 45 min away, arriving late to their home. I was still greeted with so much kindness! I enjoyed cooking them a Thai Tom Kha Gai Soup.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered for Seattle Union Gospel Mission as a Chef and learned how to cook in mass production. I got hired on and worked for Serve Seattle. It was the best experience working for a truly amazing organization!

There are so many beautiful places around Wales, from the city of Cardiff to historic buildings, and so many places to explore in the outdoors: waterfalls, beach, countryside. We would be happy to show you around South Wales.
