About Me
Hello! I am an enthusiastic and fun loving person excited to finally be exploring life beyond the academic world. One of my main goals is to learn more about the US through hiking, roadtripping, and mostly just talking with people. My ideal day starts with a bike ride breakfast picnic and ends with wine and conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently finished school in Ohio, and although I have loved the flatness, the intense seasons, and runs & bike rides along the cornfields, I am very excited to move on and explore more of the country.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: lots of old stuff: Parliament/Funkadelic, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Curtis Mayfield, Jimi Hendrix & Band of Gypsies, James Brown, all of the Jacksons. And new stuff as well: MF Doom, Erykah Badu, Ka, M.I.A., OutKast, D'Angelo. And so much more.
Movies: I don't watch too many movies but my favorite ever is Do the Right Thing.
Books: I love James Baldwin, Zora Neale Hurston, and Toni Morrison. Recently have been loving Jhumpa Lahiri.
