My name is Mia and we usually travel and live together with my boyfriend Bálint. We both are adrenaline seekers but especially me 😅
We are a czech-hungarian couple who love to explore the world as interesting ways as possible. We have been to most of the countries in Europe (mostly by hitchhiking). Our main goal is to visit the few last countries on the european continent.

Up until recently we weren’t really able to host anybody, but since August 2024 we moved together to Norway. Therefore we would like to start hosting after we have been mostly just surfing :) We think it’s fair after the 2 years of just surfing :D

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing, because we like this community of people and every meeting with a couchsurfer is different, inspirational and it's never boring. The inspiration from all the people we've got thanks to couchsurfing is simply "wow"! We were taught so many stuff, we'll never forget. And all this just thanks to this one awesome platform - couchsurfing.

Traveling is quite obvious interest on this platform but apart from that i am really into linguistics and in recent months i became a real adrenaline seeker - particularly urban climbing (climbing transmitters, chimneys, towers without any protection) ~ i fell in love with the feeling when your mind is focusing on that one and only moment when you are up there in many meters above the ground. I feel free when i am in heights. 🗼🏔️🧗
Bálint on the other hand is interested in transportation - trains especially and his dream is to become a train driver alongside the fjord at the railway here by Trondheim.

I have personally started traveling alone when i was just 13-14 y.o.
Started hitchhiking at a very young age and fell in love with this style of traveling.
The best trip was in the year 2023 when we together with my boyfriend hitchhiked really lowcost from the Iran-Armenia border all the way to Czechia over 6000km. Really memorable trip, met so many amazing people, got to visit many new countries and made memories for life.
- also after moving to Norway, i decided to go hitchhiking just alone all the way to Nordkapp - Northernmost point of europe (in total hitchhiked around 2000km in just a few days), it was quite a new experience to hitchhike solo, this far

We both are interested in language study. There’s couple of languages we'd both like to improve. If you know how to speak German, Spanish, Russian, Turkish or maybe some other languages, it would be cool to have a nice language practice together. :)
