Resumen
Sobre mí
Hi! I'm Mia, and I am 20. Life is a great adventure filled with lots of road bumps. No matter how many of those there are, they just slow you down. They will never stop me. I am independent and stay pretty busy. I love lots of movement and color and my family, especially now that I live farther away. lol. and the outdoors. I live a short drive to the beach, so walking and running on the beach are great.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I was staying with a friend who does this and thought it was fun. I want to travel and meet people with different lifestyles than mine. I am new on here and am feeling this out to see if it really works. I hope so.

Música, películas y libros
music- just about anything, new age, classical
movies- all of Stephen King's, anything on netflix
books- anything by James Patterson, Stephen King, Karen Moning, F. Warrington, Dante's Inferno, Ulysses by Joyce, My Visit to Hell- Thigpen, any fantasy by Overstreet
I would rather read than watch movies, but i do love both.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I've driven cross-country with a friend just to do it- after high school. It was a learning experience, and I got to see places I had never been, even if I slept in my car. During that trip, my friend and I saved a dog on the highway from being hit and helped a turtle cross the road. I also learned how to change a flat tire and how to make sure the oil and coolant stay full!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
If you drive cross-country, pack lots of cheap food and water. Having a truck or van would also be helpful because sleeping in the driver's seat for a few days will make you pay whatever the nearest hotel is asking. Or pack an air mattress, and sleep in a field or in a tent.
In one town after getting gas, I saw on the news how there was an escaped mental patient. Maybe don't sleep in the field. At least the car locks!
I have learned to stop judging people since high school. Most people are good and try to do their best, even when I don't see it, so I have learned to forgive and forget and rebuild lost friendships. And I have also learned that humility is "cleansing for the soul." I have recently begun apologizing for things in my past, and no, i am not in AA or anything, but I will say that it is spiritual. Seeing hope and bliss in others.
