Hello, hello!
I am Mia (27), contemporary dancer/performer from Croatia!

I recently moved to Germany to do my internship as a performer in an Art company.
In Croatia first I studied for five years Fine arts - traditional printmaking and arts education, in my hometown, than I moved to Zagreb, where I studied contemporary dance.
I am a mix of arts, education and body-knowledge. Very passionate about all of that, but deep down in my soul there lives little biologist, for that was my first love before I decided to dedicate my life to art :)

I love to meet new people and hear their life stories :) love to listen and speak for a long time and share experiences, and of course I love to travel and explore places I did not see by now.
In my free time I do yoga, and if I have extra extra free time, I go to boulder!

I am fluent in English, and always happy to share some of my language and happy to learn new languages! :)

Favorite countries (or better, obsessed with these since I was a child, never knew why..) - Romania, France and Egypt. Still I haven't been to Egypt, for sure I will! :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfers because I see it as a great platform to meet new people! It's nicer to travel and meet some new people, and get some nice advice what to see and visit next!

Love to meet new cultures , listen about their history and about what's happening today!
And as mentioned before, love to meet new people, listen about them and share experiences :)

Hopefully, when I decide where will I live, I could also host some wonderful travelers!

Earlier today I listened to Eartha Kitt, but I can't tell what my favorite music is. Because of my profession I am always surrounded with great musicians. But I am a bit of everything (The Beatles, Muddy Waters, Velvet Underground, B.B. King, Florence, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Tamino, Jeff Buckley, Beirut, David Bowie, Nick Cave, The Knife, Jimothy....) various... as you can see!

As for movies and books - super various also, but Danil Harms, Herman Hesse and Enes Kišević - much of importance to me :)

Book I am reading at the moment - Movement Research (more of a journal)

My cooking! I'm always a fan of having dinner/lunch/breakfast together!

A lot of stories and experiences! A lot of knowledge body-wise - my dance education is based on somatic practices, so I know some tricks to help you with something if you think there is something happening with you, and you cannot figure out what :) or if you are just a fan of our wonderful body I can speak for a long time!
