ABOUT ME

We are two girls at the age 22 and 21, who meet at highschool in copenhagen some years ago, travelled, danced and experienced a lot. Now we have gone our seperate ways. Mia is studying psychology and is teaching jazz ballet in Copenhagen. Signe moved to Berlin and now studies cultural science there.
This summer we are coming together and are travelling Israel from 29th of July until the 23th of August

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Signe: I have already done hosting and surfing as well together with my old roommate. I had a lot of fun until now and would like to participate even more, when I get my own apartment again

Mia: I have no past experience with this network, but I'm really looking forward to try travelling this way. .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Signe: My best couchsurfing experience was in Budapest. We stayed the best apartment for a week and got to see the city from a whole new perspective. I think because of my great hosts was my trip to Budapest one of the best vacations in my life.

Interests

Mia: Some of my major interests are perfomring arts. Especially theater and dance.Dance have always been a big part of my life, and I love to experience lyrical dance and ballet at the theater as well as I love to teach dance.

Signe: My passion is languages. Until now I have learned English, German and Italian. I would like to learn polish someday, because I love to travel in Eastern Europe. I really love experience new cultures. That is the reason why I moved to Berlin and in September I am doing my exchange year in Italy. I also love cooking and baking cakes, riding my bike through the streets of Berlin, staying up late, reading books and hanging out with my friends

Music: Right now I listen a lot to Joanna Newsom and Tom Waits. My guilty pleasure is Dolly Parton and Italian popmusic :)
Movies: i love Wes Anderson, Sofia Coppola, Woody Allen and Truffaut movies.
Books: All books by Jonathan Safran Foer, Hanna Krall and Murakami. These days I try to discover polish literature

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mia: It was an amazing experience to be at the top of The Empire State Building in New York. The view is fantastic!

Signe: Moving to Berlin!
