ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student in film-science at the University of Trier. I am 26 years old. I grew up in a small town close to Bitburg/Germany/Rhineland. I have to younger sisters and that is why always people have been around me. If you grew up in such a small village like me, it is normal that there are always children and friends in the house. I really like this athmosphere when the house is full of people.

I studied most of the time at the University of Trier. After an exchange year I decided to stay in Switzerland. I am living together with six other students in a really nice flat close to an amazing park.

Since I was a little girl I feel related to nature (especially the garden and the forest) and the sea. But I also like living in a big-crowded city: these international spirit gives me the feeling to be quite in touch with the world. But most of all I like living in Switzerland because of my boy-friend and my wonderful friends. Yeah, take it as my philosophy of life: I feel at home there were my friends, my thoughts and my heart is. I am always looking forward to see my friends at the weekend. We watch films in the evening, go out for a wine, a party, kind of wild dancing to electro sound. Yeah, definetly, living in Zurich makes me happy and gives me the possibility to decide spontaneously what I like to do with my friends in my free-time. I also like really much going "home" to see my family a couple of times in the year. The privateness and silence of such a small village is a good contrast to my daily live. I like travelling really much: there are so many places I like to see in my lifetime. I would really like to start with discovering the world right now, but first I have to finish my master thesis...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like it to have guests in my flat. As you see on my wall: there have been a couple of friends who lived in my flat for a really long time. I am new on couchsurfing.org: I am really interested in sharing my couch with other surfers and I also like to meet other couchsurfers while travelling.
