ABOUT ME

Well lets see...me I have an addictive laugh and a contagious smile I have been told. I am very talkative and expressive. I love to dance. salsa is a passion of mine at the moment. I don,t dance technically correct I just love the music and moving my hips. Soca music and carnivals are another passion of mine and I will try to plan a trip around a local festival or celebration.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To date I have never surfed with anyone but I have hosted.( surfing like pro now..lol ) Infact I just had four ladies stay with me for the nottinghill carnival. I must say that hosting for me is difficult as due to work commitments. I am on the road a lot. this last host took a lot of planning and was made esier by the fact that we had meet before at Rio carnival. I must update that I have now been surfing couches and its awesome. you come across the most amazingly generous people. I have learnt some much and you will be surpised how quickly you can become part of someone's family. if only I had discovered this in my twenties.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great so far and I have made some good friends. As a single traveller for the most part this community has really been helpful.
Hosting my first event in Rio even though I did not know the city and only 24hrs after I got there. thanks to the 10 people who turned up amd made it a fantastic day out. sunset on sugar loaf was amazing.

Interests

dancing salsa, playing mas on any caribbean island that as a carnival, food, I love good food and I enjoying eating out. walking through the streets of hong kong late at nite feeling completely at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the sun going down over the grand canyon, climbing the water falls in Tijuca park...I just wanted to scream at the top of my lungs when I got to the top. amazing

Teach, Learn, Share

would like to learn to cook my trinidad host's curried crab...lol. I would like to teach people to eat with their hands african style. they are after all natures utensils.
