About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Well I made it to Indonesia twice!!. Now my mission is to eventually move there. Still working on it.
ABOUT ME
I have lived a pretty simple life here in Miami, although career wise have taken some risk to be my own boss. Family and friends are very important to me. I love adventure and would like to travel more. I have to say if it wasn't for Couchsurfing I would not have met my partner. I met an amazing man in Indonesia and we are now married living in Miami for 10 years now. We have an Indonesian restaurant here in south florida and is doing well. We also have an Indonesian cooking seasoning line that we promote around the US and are working to get them in stores around the country. The restaurant is called Krakatoa Indonesian Cuisine and the Seasonings is called 17000 Flavors of Indonesia. We work a lot. Not much free time anymore. Trying to start squeezing in some travel again to balance our lives a little.
Im also on Viber and Whatsapp.
PHILOSOPHY
Its all good and there is a time and place for everything. Every experience that we have in life is for our own growth and expansion. Being Grateful. https://gratitude.crowdmap.com/main
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many people from around the world and miss being able to do it more. Its been an incredible time meeting all the different people that I have hosted. 2012 I have finally been able to use couchsurfing myself with a few trips and January 2013 went to Indonesia for the first time and took a second trip 3 months later to see more. What an amazing country and amazing people. Even though our schedule these days doesn't allow for much socializing I still really enjoy meeting new people from around the world. Everyone has amazing stories about their lives.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted quite a few people from around the world and really enjoyed. I have surfed only one time within the US, but it was a great first time experience. Hoping for many more.
Interests
Nature/Culture/Ocean life. Meeting lots of people!!!! I also try to collect a coin from the countries that i host so if you have a spare coin I would love to have it. Those countries that have the euro if you have one of your old ones laying around that would be great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I finally made it to Indonesia!!!!! My life long dream. It was more than I could have ever imagined. I stayed with some amazing CS people and was introduced to even more amazing people in that country. And I am going back. I also just had an amazing CS Christmas day party at my home and it was the most spectacular time I have ever had. So many people from so many places coming together like a family reunion. Can't forget I met my husband couch surfing in Indonesia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I haven't been able to travel much, I really enjoy meeting people from other cultural and religious backgrounds. I like to share points of view and beliefs. Its very interesting to me what makes people work.
