We "couch-surfed" the Pacific in 1982 - pre internet. Love travelers and stories. Bring them on!

We travel a lot these days and so are hoping for foreign travelers who we can host before we go to their home.

60s, 3 grown kids, one of whom is an avid CS-er. We are travel a lot and have had great guest and host experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were in SERVAS, a pre-internet CS in 1982. We prefer hotels to couches these days, but still like to get to know locals We have made great, life -long friends with many of our CS guests.

NOLS. Climbed Grand Teton. Paddled the Grand Canyon. Hiked the Inka Trail, Fitzroy and Annapurna. Did it all in Costa Rica. Dined with the King of Tokyo. Dived cenotes. Swam with Whale Sharks and Sea Lions. Married my wife.

Nice digs and more. We try to be more traveler/host/friends. We are not looking for someone just looking a cheap bed. In fact, we prefer hotels and then to meet CS hosts for coffee, drinks, dining, discussions, hikes, etc. We seek interesting people to get to know.
