Overview
About Me
CURRENTLY
I live in North Vancouver, BC on a mountain, next to a river, in a forest. I've lived abroad for most of the previous 12 years and I am super excited to return to my hometown with more life experience and knowledge.
I won't be able to host at this time, but my joy of sharing my city with travelers remains a great joy. I can show you the best stuff to do in Vancouver, and keep you away from the tourist traps. Welcome to this beautiful city.
ABOUT ME
I like to think that an ideal adventure could described as Odyssean. One of my favourite stories is Homer's 'Odyssey' and I marvel that someone's adventure is shaped mostly by the people who they meet along the way.
I'm living in my fifth continent, and the kindness the world continues to show me keeps me doing this.
PHILOSOPHY
You have to take chances to make chances.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Teaching is learning, and Learning is Teaching. My experiences in the classrooms in Canada and around the world have highlighted the incredible relationship between educator and learner. They really need each other for the whole thing to work right.
Learn: If there is something to look at, I will look at it a little closer and a little longer. If there is a box of cereal at the table, I will read all for sides. I will ask questions. I want to always learn more.
Share: Sharing life experiences, memories, and adventures makes absolute sense to me. If I can help someone experience the world in a more complete and genuine way, that is something I am willing to do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a social, helpful, and thoughtful person. I generally ignore the technological advances of the world; I won't be on my phone. I will be talking, walking, and sharing with any host I meet. I have one life, and I have every intention of focusing on the moment at hand.
I would love to get to know you, help you in any way, and share some genuinely good experiences.
I can garden. I can build. I can teach. I can listen.
