ABOUT ME

Me? I think that´s a 24 year old student from the region of Northrine-Westfalia in Germany, where I´ve spend almost all of my life so far. I am not tall or otherwise physically outstanding by any means, but I consider myself interested in more or less anything I get my hands on. I like to travel and get to know tons of new interesting People, so I guess I´m right in here.

PHILOSOPHY

A small green (whatever) put it that way: "Do or do not! There is no try." I think that kind of hits the spot. Additionally something like "Do not judge and you will not be judged, forgive and you will be forgiven". Some guy who lived about 2000 years ago in Israel said this. The killed him therefore...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was on a 3-week trip through the UK in 2010. I lost my "Couchinity" back then, (when surfing Couches in Manchester and Glasgow) and it was just great.
Every now and then when I´m toying around with my travel plans, they will most certainly include Couchsurfing again.

Interests

photography, geocaching, hiking, hunting, reading, music (listening only, I believe I´m totally incompetent when it comes to make my own =P), traveling, sports (again, participating would cause major entertainment for everyone watching me failing, oh, except for running, I can´t hurt myself there that easyly), movies & cinema, [any kind of]food (both cooking and eating), meeting people I don´t know yet, and more or less anything else that seems interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: LOTR, In Bruges, everything by Tarentino and Bay plus fancy adaptations of Marvel and DC comics.
Music: Let´s ask what I don´t like. Stuff like overproduced teen bands and things you can´t identify as music anymore (I know everyone who´s into Hardcore will hate me for this, but that´s o.k. with me).
Books: It has pages with written text on it? Bring it on! I like SciFi and Fantasy very much but there is hardly anything that I don´t read by principle. I came to dislike endless series in the recent past, which Christopher Paulini took a mention-worth part in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was at the 10th WYD in Cologne 2005. That was the most amazing thing I´ve ever experienced in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like photography, and I like to share and acquire more knowledge and creativity with and from everyone who likes photography as well. I´d really be interested in things like cooking recipes as they are sometimes really individual and local. And if you want a good book, I´m sure I´ll find something I can lend.
