I'm twenty one years old, currently living in Woodstock, IL. I went to school for cosmetology, however, now my boyfriend and I are working towards funding our grand traveling schemes. At the moment, I'm a volunteer ESL tutor at a local community college and a year from now I hope to be traveling to Prague to receive my TEFL certificate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All my life I've had a deep desire to learn new languages and to travel the world, meeting all sorts of wonderful people and experiencing different cultures. German has always resonated with me, however, and my high school study of the language resulted in a five-month foreign exchange to Freiburg, Germany. I will never forget the valuable lessons and dear friends I made on that particular adventure. Since then, however, my fluency in German has all but left me and I would love to get the chance to meet up with some folks to practice with :)
