I am a university student from the US and spent a semester studying in Finland. I love traveling, meeting people from other countries, and learning about cultures other than my own. After some time traveling the east coast of the US this spring, I'll be heading to Canada for the summer!

My best experiences in the cities I've visited have been visiting people that live there. I would much rather see their favorite places than visit the typical tourist destinations, I find that much more valuable!

While I've never couch surfed, my favorite part about staying in hostels when I've traveled is meeting people and exploring the city with our new friends. Some of the coolest people I've ever met were our roommates in the hostels, and I've had some great experiences with them!

During my semester abroad I got to visit St. Petersburg, Russia which was pretty incredible. Lapland in Finland was also hard to put into words, if you ever have the opportunity to travel to either of these places, you need to go!

I'll cook or bake some things I've learned from my international friends! I'm working on my French, so if you're fluent or learning and interested in speaking it, I would love to work on it! I will be living in Quebec City this summer, so I'll take any opportunity I can get to practice my French.
