My name is Micaela, but everyone calls me Mika or Miky. I´m 22 and I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Last year I finished university, I studied my real passion Art History!
I´m a very friendly person and the most important things in my life are my friends and family.
I want to be on of those 80 year olds who has great tales and adventures to look back on... I have a free soul...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time in couchsurfing, so I don´t have experience here. Some friends were hosted around the world with cs and they told me that really works and it´s a great life experience so i dont want to miss it!
This year i´m gonna be traveling across Europe with a friend so we would like try cs to have new experiences

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have been hosted three times- All of them exelent experiences, hope to return to Argentina and start hosting travelers in my home. I really recommend it

Interests

I always like to trying new things,see new places and meet new people. Art is my life,I love it in all its ways, music, film, dance, paints and especially phtography. I enjoy spending my free time reading, painting, playing piano and taking photos.
I´m a very curious person so I enjoy spending time with people from diferent cultures to learn from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading,especially art books Foucault, Umberto Eco, gombrich. some poetry Alma Fuerte, Borges.
I´m passionate with films and obsessed with some directos like stanley kubrick, hitchcock, jean pierre jeunet and lars von trier
I´m always listening music, is a very important part of my life, I listen diferent styls, like rock, soul, jaz, pop. My favorite bands are Oasis, Red Hot, Foo, Arctic, Led Zeppelin, The doors, the who, the killers,coldplay, like ray charles too, Joss Stone, FLorence and the machine...and some national bands of course

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some spanish, how to play some songs on piano, how to cook tipical food from Argentina (my specialties are pastas an vegetarian food. how to drink and prepare "MATE".i could teach how to take photos with reflex camera in manual way, give you some tips. Also, i could teach things about art history, especially contemporary art! and all you want to know about my country and my traditions, as music, dance, artista, etc.
I would love to learn things about a diferent culture, also perfect my english! i´m very open mind about learning new things.
