I've always wanted to travel but I've always been busy working. Now my YouTube channel (http://youtube.com/beatdownboogie) has given me opportunities to travel, but on a small budget. I like to travel and show cool places to my YouTube audience to inspire their own adventures. Huge respect to couch-surfing hosts who are helping others live out their dreams of traveling.
Here's some examples of travel videos on my channel.
I'm a very respectful guest with good manners. I do enjoy the nightlife scene - especially dancing, but at home (mine or yours) I'm calm and quiet, usually recharging my batteries (both mine and my cameras).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's nice to meet hosts and other wanderers. Sometimes to share experiences, sometimes for learning...usually both. And even if a host has a busy life, they are amazing for helping other people travel and explore!
Travel (you weren't expecting that, we're you). Film making. Photography. Anything visual. Love to dance (especially house music).
- video games
- pop culture
Music, Movies, and Books
Dance music. Indie hip hop. Psychedelic rock. Game of Thrones. SAGA. Fables.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I directed a pretty popular web series called Mario Warfare. It's subtitled in over a dozen languages.
Teach, Learn, Share
What do I know how to do? Make videos. Things that would be cool to learn? Archery and more dancing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It's fun to exchange advice and ideas about travel, especially hidden places. Going out dancing is almost always better as a group versus solo. I usually know some cool nature and nightlife destinations, but I am ignorant about food - I usually learn about food by hanging out with other people.
