About Me
*Currently traveling with my partner, Leeba. We are on open ended trip starting in Indonesia and then making our way through Europe. Info is about us both and together as we seek connection and stays along the way.
Micah: I'm a wanderer seeking sustainability in my rambling ways. My highest value is in experience and my 3 major priorities are Art, Travel, and Community. I also love to learn and have taken a shine to language study of recent... Wanna help me speak your mother tongue? [: Along the way, I've been involved in community food projects, environmental activism, and harm reduction work. I love vagabonding, and am currently integrating this into a little more grounded style of exploration. Traveling with an instrument and happy to share a song, a jam, or get creative however it comes along. Painting is another passion.
Leeba: Heyo, I'm a spirited little bird, equally attached to flight as I am to nesting. For the last few years much of my energy has been put toward healthcare advocacy work, finishing my nursing degree to specialize in hospice/palliative care, and finding some kind of balance to foster continued adventures and exploration. Previously I spent a decade in the culinary industry, both as a chef, as well as co-running a sustainable small farm, but continue to love connecting over food and am always down for an opportunity to cook or break bread with friends old and new. I have always valued and prioritized travel, both for it's ability to educate me about different cultures and spaces, but also find that it equally teaches me about myself. I'm grateful to be back into the rhythm of the road, as this is the first long-term travel I've been on since the pandemic.
Together we're: Curious, considerate, creative, adventurous, playful, advocacy and outreach oriented, good cooks, handy and helpful, love to dance and see live music, and value our individual autonomy as well as our shared connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We both love living communally and sharing space with others. Connecting with local community is the best way to experience a new place, so whether hosting or surfing we are both fueled by the friends we make along the way.

Books- Sci-Fi, short stories, thought-provoking scientific writing, diy/applicable non-fiction.
Lots of podcasts for long bus rides and low-key afternoons.
