Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met lots of great people traveling through Europe and hosted a wealth of glorious nomads visiting Paris. Isn't meeting people fun?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Geneva and ended up at a circus camp learning how to balance on giant balls and ride a unicycle. Couchsurfing makes life interesting.

Interests

Music, especially the folk and bluegrass scene. Impressionism, watercolors and sculptures. Hiking. Rock climbing. Reading. Writing poems and short stories. Discovering the unusual, such as Marionette shows or Hindu deity parades. Photography- taking my own and being inspired by others. Thrift store shopping. Drinking coffee. Being made to feel tiny under a canopy of huge trees. Cooking. Sleuthing out yummy restaurants. Wandering through outdoor markets and buying unnecessary items. Yoga and meditation. Anatomy and natural medicine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a wilderness fast in the Inyo mountains of Eastern California. The whole ceremony was about two weeks, and four of those days I spent alone, without food, in the hills. It was the most challenging and inspiring experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

hmm...I can make jewelry and knit. I have delicious recipes I can share. I know about half the alphabet in Morse code. I know how to make goat cheese.
