About Me
Blessed, or burdened, depending on your point of view, with an insatiable curiosity about the world (the one we're all lucky enough to live in) I reach out to meet interesting people around the world to share passions and experiences in life. Enjoying every single day in order to live life to the fullest. Carpe diem!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is all about experiencing other cultures, seeing new places and meeting different people. The surprises along the way amount to the sort of unexpected experiences that makes travelling so unique and rewarding. What better way is there to visit a place in the world by staying with locals that share my fascination about interacting with the beautiful diverse people of our lovely planet.
Interests
An avid reader of the popular science literature, which makes one (feel) smart =)
Having listened extensively to the compulsory 'classics' in music history, watched repeatedly all of the IMDB top250 (and many more) I gradually developed a more refined taste for certain live music and world cinema, although I enjoy the occasional pulpy blockbuster or catchy poptune just as much. Art in general, and music and movies in particular are to me a celebration of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Among many of my favorite titles are titles ranging from;
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue / Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood / Nas - Illmatic
The Godfather / Il buono, il bruto, il cattivo / La Haine / Alien / Apocalypse Now / The Big Lebowski
Jared Diamond - Guns, germs and steel / Bill Bryson - A short history of nearly everything / Thomas Kahneman - Thinking, fast and slow
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Had I been on the moon I'd put it here, otherwise couldn't possibly single out one thing. Although many good stories will attest to plenty amazing activities in the past I am happy to confess.
Teach, Learn, Share
Be it art, be it health, be it science, be it sports, be it politics.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Wherever I go I look out for and try local foods and drinks that I like to share with others! You'll never find me travelling without at least a couple of books and ready to discuss some crazily beautiful new insights about the inner workings of anything related to the human condition.
