Hello everyone! This account is actually about us: Michael and Nadja :) We are a german couple in our late twenties and beginning of thirties I should say ;) We met three years ago during our travels in Australia while working in a bavarian restaurant in Melbourne. After spending a few amazing months with friends from all over the world, we realized that we had the same idea about life. The both of us initially started traveling because we wanted to see what's out there. It felt like there was more to see and explore before you get settled somewhere. Well, once you get out there and meet a person that feels the same way it's quite hard to stop. so we are still exploring ;)
During our travels we came to see how beautiful the world, it's people, the nature, the diversity of cultures and all of that combined is and have been sharing paths, thoughts, many many laughs and all sorts of adventures ever since. We love the challenge, the countless lessons and the ease of life once you open up to it. We love to learn about people, about the way they think and their attitude towards life. We enjoy the borderless connection very much and just want more of that.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing because we felt like doing the next step. Staying with people who know the country/city opens doors and give you a totally different experience than staying in a hostel.
It always helps with a small budget too.
Most importantly though, we believe in the naturally goodness of humans and we'd like to proove all the disbelievers wrong through our own experience and story!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

After spending the last three years in Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Scotland and Germany, we figured it to be time for the next big and different adventure. We are going to spend a working holiday in Japan. But the idea is to to dive right into Russian culture first, to meet it's people and to see as much of the country as we can in one month. Therefore we will take the Trans Sibirian Train and try not to book any hostels.
