Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The experience! I've always heard about the stories or read the articles online. I feel like it will make future travels more meaningful, and I feel like I'll soon have something to offer the community as I move out and have a couch of my own to contribute. I'm ready for an adventure, and I've love to share it.

Interests

Science! I've come to embrace that I an a chemist at heart, and love the intersection of biology and chemistry. My pursuit will be towards neuroscience.

Otherwise I love hiking, camping, biking and was recently bitten by the rock climbing bug. Quiet nights on the couch are fantastic with a book, movie or tv program.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to just about any music, although I haven't come to appreciate the metal genre yet. I've enjoyed reading and rereading the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov, but these days I read mostly academic papers. Cliche perhaps, but Firefly is easily my faovrite TV show (although Gilmore Girls is a close second).
