Hello! I'm Michael, I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland. I've joined Couchsurfing to meet new people, share ideas, have conversations and discover new places.

I've run my own businesses since I was 19, and have just started a new one - that's a bit like couchsurfing meets co-working, It's called Shoal (feel free to check it out www.shoaltogether.com) . I'm from Edinburgh, can't host, but would love to show people around, Edinburgh is an amazing city.

My surname. So, yeah, it's a traditional Scottish name, and, yes - it's pretty funny if you've never seen it before. It's pronounced "Coburn" and I give you permission to laugh, once! haha.

Music, play guitar and can didgeridoo. I love food, craft beer, whisky and wine. I rock climb from time to time (Edinburgh has one of the biggest indoor climbing arenas in the world - we're so lucky). In Scotland you can climb many many hills, they're beautiful. Go if you can.
