Hey! My name's Michael and I am a travel content creator from the U.S. I first started traveling in late 2016 and have been on the road ever since. I'm what I like to call a "strategically homeless" full-time traveler.

I'm currently working on a passion project that has me solo traveling around the entire world, switching countries each month based on where my Instagram followers vote I should go (@michaelwingsit). I'm documenting the whole journey on Instagram and YouTube.

I grew up in Detroit, Michigan and have also lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Austin, Texas. For the past two years, I've been living all over Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

In my free time, I love to stay active (yoga, CrossFit, and spin), explore a city by taking photos and listening to music (currently hooked on reggaeton).

While traveling solo around the world, I am trying to make connections and friendships with people in each of the cities I visit. I also love to get a feel for a city from the eyes of a local!

I am always listening to Spotify. Right now, I'm super into Latin artists like Ozuna, Maluma, J Balvin, Wisin, Sebastian Yatra, Bad Bunny, and Danny Ocean. I also love anything in the upbeat/indie/alternative/electronic space.

My top three movies of all time: The Mask, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, and Superbad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled and worked remotely around the world in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America for an entire year with 50 other people.
