I'm a kiwi in my mid 20s, and I'm traveling with my girlfriend around Europe for the first time. I'm really enjoying seeing the sights and hearing all the awesome music that there is here, plus meeting interesting people. I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to meet and stay with locals, and this is my favourite way to get to know a place and have the best experiences.

Back in New Zealand I was a professional trumpet player and teacher living in Wellington. I'd often tour with bands so I've seen pretty much all of New Zealand (which doesn't take long). So, I can offer advice on traveling in New Zealand, and some classic awkward kiwi banter.

To meet local people wherever I travel, and have a local connection with the places I travel to. I haven't done a lot of travel before, but I'm really enjoying the experience so far, and I'm keen to share stories and tips with other people.

When I lived in New Zealand I played trumpet in the RNZ Air Force band. I was fortunate enough to two international trips to commemorate WW1 battles, one in Turkey and one in Belgium.

I can teach you some English, I'm keen to learn another language, and I play the trumpet and I'm keen to jam. I can also teach you some trumpet if you like. I'm also keen to teach/learn some cooking, I can cook a pretty mean omelette but the buck stops there.

I know a lot about New Zealand. I can share lots of band-on-tour stories too. I'm always keen to jam with fellow musicians and talk about music from the place I'm in.
