I currently live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I try to travel at least three months out of the year.

When I travel, I love to absorb the local culture, including the people, the geography, the food, wine, culture and the history. I like to explore and do new things, see new places. Ideally I would be able to do this with someone that’s from the area. I will be glad to be generous since I do not expect the host to pay for me or themselves when we do things together

I would love to host people as well and share my culture, the various types of food in the United States wine, geography, our amazing mountains and beaches

I have been fortunate enough to travel to all 50 US states and a number of countries. I started my business 23 years ago so that I could travel even more. I’ve been an educator since college. Now I’m teaching business owners so that I have more freedom and flexibility to travel as well as be a host

I hope to get to know people all over the world as a host and as a couch surfer. The area that I live in is considered one of the nicer areas in the country in terms of beauty and safety. Plus I live in the southern part of the United States, where people are very polite and gracious.. I tell people that I have busted all 50 US states and I choose to live in Raleigh.
