Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I spent about 9 years in Hawaii where I met people from all over the world. I quickly became aware of how big (and how small) our world is and how much people travel and visit new places like Hawaii. I did have people that I met from different countries stay with me and in turn, they offered their hospitality back. I ended up taking up some of these folks up on their offers and the experiences were priceless.
I've since grown to love the idea of sharing what we might take for granted as our own digs, our own locale. Sharing with others to help them enjoy just a bit more of their journey or experience.
I'm just starting the Couch Surfing experience and I plan on a little traveling this year. First time alone in years and I want to make some new connections!
