About Me

About Me 🌺
Hey! My name is Michael Fischer, and I grew up in a small town in Germany. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to travel to many amazing places — from the Philippines to the Sahara Desert and the Himalayas. Traveling for me isn’t just about seeing new places, but about connecting with people and experiencing their cultures.

I studied in Frankfurt am Main, where I also hosted many Couchsurfers in my home. My old profile unfortunately got lost, so I decided to start fresh and create a new one — ready for new adventures and connections around the world.

Now I’m planning a trip to Hawaii, and I’m excited to meet kind, open-minded locals and travelers who love sharing good energy and stories.

If you host me, I’ll gladly cook you a delicious vegetarian meal and even offer a free yoga session — I’m passionate about both!

I truly believe that life is about giving and receiving, and every day I try my best to be a kind, respectful, and mindful human being.

Grateful for the wonder of life itself 🌞

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to sleep
It’s about sharing life, stories, food, and laughter.

When I travel, I want to experience the real spirit of a place through the people who live there.

I’ve hosted many travelers in the past and always loved the connections that came from it.

Now it’s my turn to be on the road again. I want to learn from others, exchange ideas, and see the world through new eyes.

I believe that kindness and openness create unforgettable moments and that’s exactly what Couchsurfing is about. 🌺

Music, Movies, and Books

My Interests ✨

Music is my constant companion — in all its shapes and moods.
From the deep pulse of Hip Hop and Drum & Bass to the flowing rhythms of melodic techno, it carries me through life like an endless wave.

I have a soft spot for Studio Ghibli movies — especially Spirited Away, a story that reminds me how mysterious and beautiful the world can be if we look closely.

I love documentaries that open windows to the unknown — about nature, cultures, the cosmos, and animals. There’s something deeply inspiring about seeing how everything in life is connected. (ARTE is one of my favorite sources for that.)

And one of my favorite books is Peter Pan — a gentle reminder to never lose that spark of wonder, curiosity, and imagination, no matter how old we get. 🌙

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I’ve ever done was sneak into a music festival — and it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share 🌿
I love to share the simple joys of life — a good meal, deep conversation, and moments of calm.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you a yoga session to help you slow down and reconnect with your body and breath.
I enjoy cooking vegetarian food, full of flavor and made with love.
I’m always up for a walk, exploring nature or the city while exchanging stories and ideas.
And of course — music. Whether it’s sharing playlists, playing something together, or just listening, music is one of the best ways to connect.

For me, sharing is what makes traveling truly meaningful. ✨
