My name is Michael, but my friends call me Mike. I am current in my last year of undergraduate university in California and am currently studying abroad in Europe until late December, having a total of four short wonderful months across the globe. I hate writing about myself, but if I would have to use three words to describe what's important to me It would be music, friendships, and good times! I LOVE music, all kinds and genres, you can catch listening to music everyday per-say while getting ready. I can really whip up a good meal, even with the most basic ingredients and you bet the Mexican in me will find a way to make it spicy ;) Lastly, I enjoy the great company of good friends telling stories of crazy adventures or even deep conversations over a beer (or two lol).

I believe Food is a window to the soul of a culture, so I can share a sense of my Mexican- American culture through cooked food. While, I am also a big foodie so would also love and be open to trying all sorts of cuisines. I am very open minded, with very little food restrictions. I am also very clean, neat, and thankful for an opportunity to have a roof over my head and would love sharing drinks, food, music, a cooked meal, or simply time with those who take the time to offer me shelter along my journey.
