关于我
Hey,
I’m Michi from Germany.
Last year, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology in Regensburg, Germany. Now it’s time to step out of my comfort zone and explore the world!
I’m a vibrant and energetic person—at least on most days (though I do have my lazy days too). I love being active and am always up for spontaneous adventures, even the crazy ones! ;)
I play soccer, love cycling and trail running and practice Parkour, but my focus is more on movement itself rather than high-risk jumps. I have several years of coaching experience in Parkour/Movement and have been involved in youth work for many years, including organizing holiday camps and leading a weekly youth group.
I love connecting with people, having great conversations, and sharing laughs. I always strive to be open-minded and embrace new experiences.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I want to interact with as many people as possible—learn about their perspectives on the world and life itself, and see both the world and my own life from different points of view. I want to leave my safety nets behind and rely on the kindness of humanity, learning to trust in the good sides of life and simply go with whatever comes next.
I truly believe that the best way to understand another country is by engaging with locals and avoiding typical tourist activities. That’s why Couchsurfing seems like the perfect opportunity for me.
Additionally, I’m eager to become fluent in Spanish, and what better way to improve than by speaking with native speakers?
Last but not least, I have to admit that I’m traveling on a pretty tight budget. Finding ways to save money—even just a little—so I can extend my journey is also an important goal.

音乐、电影和书籍
Somehow, the saying from Inkheart (I hope I remember it correctly) that the last book you’ve read is always the best one feels true to me. Honestly, it’s hard for me to pinpoint a single favorite movie or book—I’m quite open to anything that catches my interest.
Some books I’ve really enjoyed include Der Buchspazierer, The Orange Girl, Das einzige Buch das du über Finanzen lesen musst, Corpus Delicti, and many more.
At the moment I also enjoy reading the newspaper "Die ZEIT".
When it comes to movies, I’ve liked The Two Popes, Kingsman, System Crasher, Not Another Teen Movie, Notting Hill, and plenty of others.
I also love listening to AnnenMayKantereit, James Blunt, Meat Loaf, Queen, and many more—my taste in music depends a lot on my mood and the situation.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Just this past weekend (when I wrote this), my girlfriend and I hiked up a small mountain to camp at the summit. We were under a bit of time pressure because we wanted to reach the top and set up our tent before nightfall. Due to some issues with the buses, we ended up hitchhiking part of the way to save time.
The trail turned out to be much harder than expected because it was covered in deep snow. We managed to reach the top in time, but setting up the tent in freezing conditions was a real struggle. To make matters worse, we soon realized that we didn’t have enough fuel left to boil our noodles and enjoy a warm meal. Even inside the tent, everything froze overnight. So, we had to keep anything we wanted to stay warm—water, electronic devices, and of course, ourselves—inside our sleeping bags. Let’s just say, it was a challenging night.
But the next morning made it all worth it. Stepping outside and standing on the mountaintop under the early sun of the day was simply breathtaking. Leaving the site and seeing that the only marks in the untouched snow were our footprints and those of animals was an incredible feeling—absolutely worth every struggle! On the next day going outside and standing on the top of this mountain under the rising sun, was just amazing. And also leaving this place, seeing that only our footmarks and the marks of animals were paved into the snow all in the whole area was just incredible and absolutely worth it.
教,学,和分享
I want to share whatever I can. Every interaction is a give and take, and there’s so much we can learn from each other—whether it’s about our languages, habits, daily lives, or even deep discussions on specific topics.
I’m genuinely curious about anything that’s new to me!
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
I can share my perspective on the world, hopefully some great conversations, and tips and inspiration about movement. I’d also love to share my way of cooking (everyone has his/her own style - let's exchange it).
I’m always open to talking about anything and happy to help however I can.
Most importantly, I hope we have a great time together and lots of fun!
