Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love all manner of indie rock/folk/bluegrass/pop, along with a healthy smattering of dance/hip-hop/punk/Latin/blues/you name it. Grew up on classic rock and classical, and have a special place in my heart for Romantic era and early 20th century Soviet composers.

Authors: J Steinbeck, E Hemingway, DF Wallace, GG Marquez, P Pullman, K Vonnegut, H Murakami (though to be honest I've only read a couple of his short stories), M Bulgakov, J Hamblin, TN Coates, R Munroe.

Movies: my tastes aren't particularly refined. I love most movies that have a decent plot, writing, and acting. No horror.

Shows: Colbert Report, Arrested Development seasons 1-3, Firefly, Game of Thrones.
