I am about to start my final year in University studying International Relations. I have been traveling through Asia since May and have visited 7 countries-Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan. I have fallen in love with the various cultures and people I've encountered during my time here. This experience has taught me more than any of my classes have, and I wish to integrate all that I have learned here back to school and into my professional life.

Living with people who live in the cities I am traveling through is the best way to get a sense of the culture as I can talk to them about their experiences and they can share insights that the average tourist would not know. It is the most, fun, educational, and cost effective way for a young college student to travel.
