About Me

-----------I'm taking a short break from hosting while I do some work on my place. I can possibly host some people in the next week but no promises!------------

Hey surfers, long time lurker here who just dived head first into hosting. All the basic CSing attributes apply (love meeting new people, trying new things, experiencing new cultures, etc.) and get along with the spectrum of personalities from super chill to hard partiers.

-I live in a suburban neighborhood that's in a good place to drive around wherever in Charleston, but it's not well positioned for walking/biking/public tranporting most places you'd want to go.
-I have a slightly neurotic but sweet Australian Shepherd who runs the place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Same reason as most of y'all right? To meet people I'd otherwise pass by, have conversations that otherwise never happen, to try new things and experiences, to shock myself into living in the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm bad at favorites, but...

Currently reading "Americanah" (Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie)

(Music) EDM and several of its variants, Americana/Folk, Hard Rock, lots of sappy/sad stuff; just depends on the context.

What's a movie?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a secret.

But once I did win a rock-paper-scissors tournament of several hundred people. PEAK.

Teach, Learn, Share

Stories, life lessons, cooking, photography tips'n'tricks, serendipitous conversations.

I'm willing to (try to) learn most anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Home-cooked food, if you're interested. I'm not a true chef but I'm no flake either.
Hospitality and respect, always.
Wisdom. Hah, no not really.
My dog is awesome and loves cuddles and all that.
Drinks from my area, if I'm not flying in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cuba, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
