I work as an online teacher for ESL (English as a Second Language) students. I love my job because I get to meet people from all over the world with different backgrounds and experiences.
I follow a vegan diet but I'm open-minded and accepting of other diets and viewpoints.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my passions in life and I love to explore and discover new cultures.
Although I sometimes like to stay in Airbnbs to get some work done, I think one of the best ways to experience a new place is to meet locals who know the area.
I'm fascinated by different cultures and languages and I'm always more than happy to share something from my culture when I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Mostly non-fiction. Foreign language, Buddhism, self-development... I generally just listen to podcasts (hours every day!)

Movies: Star Wars (not the new ones!), Lord of the Rings, Horror genre... I prefer TV series and my favourites are The Walking Dead, Vikings, Dexter, Humans...

Music: Gojira, Igorrr, The Agonist, System of a Down, Jinjer, Slipknot, Trivium (I like most genres though)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019, I spent 3 weeks working on farms in rural Japan. This was an amazing experience seeing what most tourists don't, but also for complete language immersion.

As an English tutor, I'm happy to help any non-English hosts practice their English skills!
And for the English hosts who are interested, I can also teach you some Japanese!
