About Me

Hey everyone, my name is Michael and I'm currently studying Business Administration in Saarbrücken. I spent my last semester in Sweden and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During that time I had the opportunity to not only discover the most breathtaking nature in Scandinavia but also to meet the best exchange students from all corners of the world. And this experience encouraged me to finally join Couchsurfing in order to meet new and interesting people.

I try to spend as much time outside as possible. I do different kind of outdoor recreations, such as skiing, cycling, hiking, running, etc. . But I also enjoy looking for the most delicious restaurants in my neighborhood or just hanging out with friends.
Speaking of the devil, my friends would descripe me as humorous, very friendly, sometimes crazy and adventurous but also very reliable and responsible (at least, that's what I hope for :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me it is more important to meet new, local people instead of traveling to new places and spend the whole holiday with other tourists. That's why I decided to join Couchsurfing, which offers a great possibility to get to know new cultures, people and languages. Especially in today's pluralistic society mutual understanding, acceptance and tolerance are of great importance. And that's why I support this community so much.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read and watch almost everything from classics to trash, depending on my mood. However, I really enjoy reading thriller books, especially those wirtten by "Sebastian Fitzek" and I'm still searching for the funniest and the scariest movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A great experience was my first snow-camping with a couple of friends somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Finland in minus temperatures in the forest.
