I am originally from Aurora, Ohio (AKA the place Sea World used to be), but I have a lived a number of different places growing up, including Tokyo, Japan. I am now finishing up medical school at Penn State Hershey Medical Center before starting my residency in Emergency Medicine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling with some friends and we wanted to find a good way to meet people and possibly save a little bit on money. While there aren't many broke doctors, med student is pretty much synonymous with broke.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Favorite song ever: Semi-charmed Life by Third Eye Blind. My taste in music is pretty eclectic though. Everything from rock (classic, alt, doesn't matter), pop, techno. I even dabble in a little bit of country hip hop. 90's music though were my jams. My current obsession is Sheppard, and Australian band.
Books: Harry Potter of course, Hunger games. All those are great. I just recently read this series called Red Rising- it was amazing. I highly recommend it. Favorite book ever though is The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly. Water for Elephants is also worth a read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Other than being a 2 time dodgeball champion, I have lived in Japan for 2.5 years (and failed to learn the language. I was 9). And I am going to be a doctor. That seems legit.
