Hello my name is Michael and I am from Scotland. I am currently travelling around Europe until October and am looking to meet as many new people from all different cultures as possible while meeting new friends along the way. I have been volunteering at various places around Portugal, Czechia and Germany this year and in previous years I visited Norway, France and Spain.

The music I listen to the most would be rock, metal and hip hop but I like pretty much everything. Some of my favourite bands and artists are Metallica, Disturbed, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gorillaz, Lupe Fiasco, Joe Budden and Ab-Soul.

The best thing I decided to do was travel the world and leave behind the stress of everyday life in the UK. Volunteering via workaway has been the best experience of my life.

I have a lot of experience with recording and mixing music, I can build some things such as raised beds for growing. I want to learn about other people's cultures and share some great experiences with everyone I meet on my journey.
