About Me

Unfortunately it looks like you have to state this here:
---NOT for hook ups or dates!!!!---
That is NOT what CS is all about...at least for me.

I'm an open-minded guy and always looking for new places to discover and interesting people to meet. For me, couchsurfing is not about getting a free accommodation, but meeting and getting to know locals and share experiences with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess the same reason why everyone else is doing it: meet interesting people, discover awesome places and gather great experience.

Interests

At the moment I'm learning Bulgarian (or at least I try 😳) and I'm always trying to refresh my rusted school French.
I love to cook, often 'freestyle' with stuff that's just available and without a plan.
Concerning sports I love playing ice hockey, stand-up paddling and climbing once in a while.
I always try to improve my crafting and wood working skills, hell yeah, everything DIY 😅!
And my latest passion is film photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty much into sci-fi movies [I guess you have to as an engineer / nerd :-) ].
I love industrial metal and hard techno music (like Gabber), but also rap music and rock, grunge etc. Basically there is no "I only listen to that".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, the great things happen when you don't expect them. So I always try to allow myself to drift, where ever I am. I always had great experiences with strangers / locals I met travelling or also in my home town.

Teach, Learn, Share

I recently exerienced the joy of offering "tourist tours" in my hometown Regensburg, showing the beauty of the city from a local's point of view. I really like to carry that on, especially to offer something special to foreigners without any expenses for them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe some interesting stories and perhaps some delicious meal 😊 (if you dare to let me cook). I love going on short trips but also just sit together with a couple of beers, once in a while.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland
