About Me
I'm currently stumbling through my early 20s, doing crazy things like moving to Cambodia. I've always known I want to see other countries, and I thought it made sense to roam around while I was young, unattached, and free to muck about with little-to-no-direction and not much to lose.
Someday I'd like to work for Paradox Interactive, a game-design company based in Sweden.
I still need to go to college (or "University", as some say), and it's definitely something I'm going to do, but I don't consider taking student loans and plunging myself into debt to be an option. Considering that, I need to build up some capital, when I do go, I'd like to focus on English Literature and Mythology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Truthfully? The money, I'm not a man of means by an stretch of the imagination. That consideration aside, though, definitely the networking. I understand this is a great way to meet a host of wonderful and interesting people, and I love wonderful and interesting people. Someday I'd like to return the favor (or pay it forward) by hosting for others, but first I'll need a permanent residence. :)
Interests
Entertainment. I love video-games, books, movies, board games, plays, music - if it's a form of escapism I've probably indulged in it. I also fancy myself a writer, and I love black coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is a tall questions, but I'll attempt a short list:
-80s/90s Music, Dvorak's #9, Big Iron by Marty Robins, Electric Swing, Power Metal
-The Dark Crystal, the Last Unicorn, Studio Ghibli, Pixar, Cloud Atlas, Conan the Barbarian, B-grade films, Kevin Smith
-Robert Heinlein, HP Lovecraft, Kokoro, The Narrow Road to Oku, Fairy Tales (unbowdlerized and uncut)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my job and moved to Cambodia for a month when I was 22; I'm not sure that's amazing, but it's probably the most notable thing to happen in my life to-date.
