Hi!

I'm Michael, 23 years old and from the mighty Northern Ireland!
Currently studying Product Design Engineering as part of an exchange program in Gothenburg, Sweden for my final year :)
Also trying to figure out what I want to do with my life after University.

This is my first time on Couchsurfing, I have always wanted to try it so I thought why not give it a go while I am in Sweden!

I have a relaxed personality and am easy to get along with.
I enjoy outdoor sports/ activities and have a passion for photography.
On the other hand I sometimes enjoy solitude and love spending time in nature!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love travelling to new places, meeting new people & learning new skills.
I have never done anything like Couchsurfing before, but I figure it's good to try something new and out of my comfort zone!

Hopefully when I get my own place I can host travellers too.

Music: Anything that is catchy! depends what mood I am in.
Films: Game of Thrones!! (I live near some of the locations), The Revenant, Interstellar, Before the Flood, District 9
Books: I should read more books.....maybe you can recommend some?

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Abroad:
- I had some good times in Slovenia, going swimming at sunrise in Lake Bled with not a single person in sight was amazing. Having a shower in a freezing cold waterfall half way up a mountain was amazing.
- Drinking beers and having fun on a crazy night with the Norwegians in Trysil was amazing (and expensive haha)

Closer to home:
- When I used to own a small boat, me and a few friends would load it up with camping gear and food and travel to one of the hundreds of small islands near my home town. We explored the islands and made camp then enjoyed a BBQ, beers and nothing but the sound of the water and sea birds. That was amazing.
