Hey folks,

I am Michael and live in Hamburg / Germany near the north sea. Together with my girlfriend I have a nice flat, but it it as big as it needs to be. I was born near the city of Rostock at the baltic sea, where many of my friends and family live. that really a wonderful place... endless beaches, pictoresque small towns and good seafood!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do Couchsurfing not to stay at other people's homes but to get in contact with people when I travel. At the moment my focus is directed to the British Isles. I do love Scotland and in May/June 2015 I will be in Perthshire for some days. I would like to meet locals on my way through the countryside. I love to find new Pubs, Restaurants and Events on my journeys... so if you have a recommendation, tell me!

Interests

My interests are travelling, especially to Scotland at the moment. This is not only because of the marvelous countryside. I am very much interested in Single Malt Whisky and I look forward seeing Whisky Distilleries in Scotland as well as meet people who are interested in this topic as well or even work in that branch.
