I'm a 22 year old university student originally from Canada, now living in the South of France for my studies. I had never traveled before 2012, but since my first overseas trip that year, I have traveled to countries to 17 countries - and I absolutely love it! I am in Europe for 8 months and my goal is to visit every European country while I'm here.

I love meeting new people, sharing travel stories and learning new words in different languages - I can teach you French, English and Greek in exchange!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I really try my best to walk in the shoes of a local in all the countries I visit. My friends who are on couchsurfing all say that it's the best way to get a local's perspective, and an excellent way to meet new people. I know that I may never have the opportunity to backpack across the world ever again, so I want to take advantage of every opportunity to learn and meet as many new people as I can.

I never like answering this type of question because we can say so much! I love listening and playing music (piano & trumpet), pretending to be good at volleyball (lol), kayaking, and although I'm usually always on the go, sometimes I just like sitting on a coffee shop terrace with my journal or a book. Also helps that I love coffee.....

I have no one favourite type of music. If you look at my iPod, you'll see everything from hip hop, to 1960s Jazz, and from rock and roll, to Beethoven. I don't care what type of song it is, so long as it's good!

I really love sharing travel stories. Everyone has a different way of seeing the world, and of understanding why things are the way they are. I also love having discussions and learning from locals about their country, their political systems, their customs, etc so that I can better appreciate the places I'm visiting.
