- art: I'm not very good, but I've been doing a lot of ballpoint pen portraits lately. I do cartoons and comic book style stuff mostly.

- fiction: movies, books, plays. I can talk about movies ALL DAY, and I enjoy good stories no matter how they're told.

- grappling: 3 years of Brazilian jiujitsu, but I've done a bit of judo and wrestling. My favorite athletes to watch are Marcelo Garcia and Jeff Glover.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Over the last 3 years I've been thoroughly addicted to a sport known as Brazilian Jiujitsu, and in March 2015 some friends and I went to Brazil to train "at the source". We were humbled by the skill level at ~7 different gyms, made a ton of friends, shared our "gringo" ways with the residents, and soaked up the local sights and culture.

I would do it again in a heartbeat if the rest of the world weren't still waiting to be explored.
