Hi, I'm Mike. I live in DC but am an avid traveler and trying to see more of the world. I work in recruiting but my passions are in political theory and history. I grew up in Colorado and love to snowboard. Soccer is also a passion of mine and was lucky enough to see the Fifa world cup in Brazil in 2014.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never tried Couchsurfing before. I have either stayed in hostels, camped, or airbnbs. But with a recent trip upcoming my budget is on much more of a shoe string. I'd like to hopefully make a connection and learn more about the places I'm planning on visiting.
