Extrovert! I love to meet new people, I love to laugh, and I try not to take things too seriously. After graduating from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing), I was hoping to jump into a career that would help me see the world!

After 2 years of a surprisingly fun but local sales job in Mountain View, California, I realized I was not seeing the world as I originally intended, so I departed with my girlfriend to Daegu, South Korea to teach English for an undetermined number of years! Teaching has always been something that I've considered pursuing, and after 3 months I can confidently say that I'm loving life!

After working in Silicon Valley sales for 2 years, I got caught up in the local culture of making my top priority my career. Now that I've put my happiness and my travelling before my career, I'd love to meet hosts in nearby countries who enjoy meeting people and sharing stories, laughs, and perhaps a few beers.

I also enjoy hanging out, live concerts, bars, sports events, and live concerts (can't emphasize enough). Generally down for anything and everything video-game related, as well as extremely passionate about nearly every type of food. I've eaten testicles in Hong Kong, so now I'm ready for anything (chicken testicles, by the way, to ease your troubled mind).

Metallica will always be my one true love, but I am very open-minded and listen to all types of music. Any live music is good music! I'm a huge fan of going to the movies, most genres are enjoyed, and anything Marvel-related will be an instant-see. I enjoy psychology books, self-help books, and a few fantasy/sci-fi series'. Huge fan of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter!

Trekked the Great Wall of China! The feat itself was not amazing, but I considered the experience amazing.

I've begun the process of travelling the world, with some parts of Bali, China, and Hong Kong that I'm passionate about and would love to share my experiences regarding. I also love hearing about other peoples' adventures abroad because there are many countries I have yet to visit. I want to learn as much about the world as I can, and travelling through Couchsurfing is a great way to do that!

And naturally as an English teacher I would be happy to talk your ears off and provide some English practice!
