I'm a passionate writer and photographer, but my foremost drive in life is adventure and exploration. I'm a creature of constant change. Monotony dulls my my mind and clouds my eyes and muffles my ears. I can't stand it. I recently quit my restaurant job to take a four month trip around the USA and start my journalism career. I want to know America, see what makes it tick and what the people across the continent are really like, which is why I'd love to stay with you on my trip!

I love good food, good beer, and good conversation. And disk golf, I might be a bit obsessed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here for the people! And the housing. This four-month trip is a big one, something I've never done before, and it's a bit daunting. But I'm really excited, and I hope you'll be a part of it. Wherever you are, I've never been there before. I'd love to know the ins and outs of the place before I get into it. I'll be doing a lot of camping on this trip, but ideally I'll be able to stay with you and get a real feel for the places I'm visiting.
