ABOUT ME

My adventure started at the conclusion of dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. I broke open the fortune cookie only to read, "You will travel to many exotic places during the next few years." From that point on, I packed up my stuff and the adventure began. I moved to South America, where I live and work as a writer and educator. I teach history at a school in Colombia. I travel often and love to share experiences with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing. I have a great apartment in a great part of Cali, Colombia, which I am willing to share. It is close to transportation, shopping, restaurants, and more.

Interests

Traveling, Soccer, American Football, Languages, Hiking, Exploring, Playing trombone, Reading, Writing, Meeting new people, and just enjoying the things around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of movies, music and books. I read quite a bit, and a few of my favorite authors are: Hemingway, Chabon, Eggers, and Hughes. I play the tuba and trombone, so I am a big fan of any music with those. Salsa, jazz, blues, New Orleans, classical, and on and on.
