Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, I was ingrained with a particular brand of "laid back" that allows for a sense of adventure. I really enjoy exploring new places and always happy to meet new folks who can act as guides, companions, or simply comic relief (I tend to fill the latter role).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Got the itch to take off wandering, so I've been bouncing around since August '16 for a bit of Europe and now South America then planning a bit of North America on the way back home. Would love to meet people and get a local perspective! I enjoy learning about other cultures through food, drink, music, dancing, comedy, so, ya know, culture!

Music, Movies, and Books

I dig into a lot of music from around the world, but I always hold close the classics like Bowie, Eno, Neil Young, Devo, and the like. Always searching for new sounds, but lately been listening to Jessica Pratt, Frank Ocean, Parquet Courts, The Shivas, and really anything that can crawl inside my head and get comfy. Love digging around record stores for a few hours and chatting with folks trading recommendations and alienating those around us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I take pride in my sandwiches, and I can make you an incredible breakfast. Happy to buy you a drink and swap stories and music recommendations. I'm a great house guest, always leave things how I found them or better. Very grateful for anyone's hospitality.
