ABOUT ME

I grew up a bit all over the place... Back and forth between the Turks and Caicos, France and England. After school in Birmingham, I moved backed to the Turks and Caicos and started dating my holiday romance, Kate, who I now live with.

I have a sister that works around the Middle East - Lebanon / Syria / Egypt so I've got a chance to see that part of the world.

Currently I manage a surf shop and run a freelance videography company producing little promotional videos, real estate and the odd wedding.

Last year I really got into DJing which is a lot of fun. I throw some epic parties switching up reggae, hip hop, house and dub step.

Kate's a concierge and between us we are well connected. So, if you need any insight into local culture, the night life or you want to get out on the water, we can definitely make it happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of my friends are on Couch surfing and I've met some cool people that have come to the island through the site. I haven't done any Couchsurfing yet, but it seems like a great way to be a traveler rather than a tourist, and get a chance to experience places in the world through the eyes of those that know them best.

Interests

Kate and I are both creative souls. She likes painting, sewing and doing little crafty things... I guess I'm more of a "digital artist".

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be a movie buff, but it's hard to keep up in the Turks, there is only one Cinema, and one DVD store (Both are shallow in scope). Essentially I like anything with heart or imagination.

We share a broad based love for music, and fire up a different track everyday to pick us up in the morning.

Anything from the diverse rock spectrum, The Stones, The do, Unkle - Reggae, Toots, Jah Cure, Bennie man - Hip hop, from main stream acts like Jay Z to alternative artists like Jamie T and MF Doom.

I've gotten into a lot of electronica and music that samples (Taking elements from other songs and using them to build something new). Thievory Corporation, Gramatik, Madlib, Pretty Lights - All good stuff
