ABOUT ME

My name Is Michael and I grew up in the suburbs of DC. I love listening to podcasts and hearing peoples stories. I am currently a student a the College of William and Mary studying abroad in Lille, France. I am also an avid member of Amnesty International. Human Rights have always been close to my heart. I am super friendly and love meeting new people but like everyone I definitely enjoy my down time.

I am brand new to couch surfing but I would love to participate on both ends hosting and surfing!

Interests

I am super into movies and podcasts. And I pretty much love every HBO series that has every come out. Really I am all about personal stories. I think telling your own story is one of the most brave things that you can do so I get into podcast like the moth/this american life/radio lab/etc and a ton of stand up comedy. Stand up is probably my favorite are form. I am also a big soccer fan rooting for Chelsea and at home DC United.

Music, Movies, and Books

BIG movie and tv fan. As a kid I loved chris farley and adam sandler movies like tommy boy and happy gilmore. I can still watch those today and crack up. Some of my other favorites are 12 angry men, Shawshank, Mud to name a few. I've never been much of a reader but for awhile my favorite author was Gary Paulson. Also I can totally pick up enders game anytime and still love it.
