About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life

ABOUT ME

I recently left San Francisco, California with my wonderful wife Ashley to get married in Massachusetts . We are currently planning our European honeymoon... I was working in SF as a carpenter for the past year and a half but hope to continue my engineering career back in Vermont.
I went to college in Burlington Vermont for Mechanical Engineering. I worked for a coffee company for ~3 years and decided the gray hair was coming in a little too strong. I quit my job and moved out to Jackson Hole Wyoming to be a ski bum for a year with my beautiful and understanding girlfriend. There I enjoyed working in a restaurant, making crepes, and snowboarding 100 days of the winter. It was a blast!
After that Ashley and I moved to Casper WY so that she could continue her nursing career. We stayed for 3 months before she received an offer to work in San Francisco California. We were in SF for about 2 years and enjoyed every minute of it. If you have the opportunity to visit this amazing city, take it! We will certainly miss SF and all that it has to offer but am excited to come back to Vermont and be closer to our friends and family.
Before we move back to Vermont we will be traveling through Europe as an extended honeymoon. We recently got married on July 20th and depart for Athens Greece on July 28th!! We have yet to get a flights home but are expecting to stay for at least 3 months or until our money runs out.
We both are respectful, fun, and energetic people. We like to explore, hike, cook, eat, drink, and meet new amazing people. We are both ecstatic about our upcoming travels and can't wait to see what adventures it will bring.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once (i think). You can't buy back your youth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a couple experiences hosting wonderful people from France, Canada, and NY. I have only surfed a couple times. Each experience was amazing and interesting in their own way. I hope to have many more across this country as well as the world as Ashley and I venture into Europe.

My first experience is when my house hosted 2 lovely gentleman from France. Antoine Lahay and Etienne Cabaret were in town and a friend who had previously participated in couch surfing recommended the experience. Sure enough it worked out great. We feasted, drank, and played/listened to music (they were musicians) all night. The following morning we went on a Sunrise hike. All and all it was great experience and has led me to this site. I hope to have many more.
